Dr. Abdullatif (Bud) Zaouk is a scientist, engineer and visionary committed to engineering innovation that promotes safety, efficiency and a path to next-generation technology. Always interested in the mechanics of “how things work,” Bud pursued advanced training in
mechanical engineering and biomechanics earning his doctorate from the George Washington University. Indulging his passion for research, Bud served as an Adjunct Professor at the George Washington University, Senior Research Scientist at GWU’s FHWA/NHTSA National Crash Analysis, as Test Manager of the Federal Outdoor Impact Laboratory (FOIL) at the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC), and as a Research Engineer at the Ford Motor Company Safety Research and Development Department. Bud honed his managerial bio during his tenure as Director of Surface Transportation at QinetiQ North America. A forthright leader, Bud encouraged the highest levels of integrity with customers, saying what he meant and meaning what he said. His principled management inspired his staff to follow suit creating a customer-driven work culture. This genuine commitment to serving others inspired Bud to establish a new company focused on creating novel and innovative approaches to complex customer problems in the domain of engineering. An avid mountain climber and outdoor enthusiast, Bud knows that you reach the summit through perseverance.
Michael (Mike) Willis grounds KEA in tried-and-true organizational management principles refined through more than two decades of managing multi-million dollar programs in the private and government sectors. He has two Bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering and Interdisciplinary
Engineering & Management. Mike understands that engineering and technology challenges often entail interacting complex variables. His experience and creativity help him develop innovative solutions. A gifted leader, Mike can intuitively deconstruct formidable engineering programs into manageable projects matching skilled personnel with tasks for which they are well-suited. A people-person at heart, Mike enthusiastically serves KEA customers with a strong commitment to exceeding their expectations and ensuring that KEA meets their engineering objectives. In service to the customer, Mike is always searching for ways to “do it better” and formally seeks continuous process improvement.
Dr. Kelly Ozdemir
Director of Applied Sciences
Dr. Kelly Ozdemir brings a unique perspective to her role as KEA Director of Applied Sciences. Kelly analyzes complex problems from many angles by combining years of experience with advanced education. Kelly received her
M.S in Clinical Psychology and her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the Cognition, Brain, and Behavior Department at Syracuse University. Armed with exceptional past work experience and a solid educational foundation, she is a problem-solver able to successfully combine scientific and human individual elements. Kelly is directly responsible for leading our engineering and chemistry teams. She is a true believer in developing our staff, is an excellent mentor, and much-valued leader. Kelly knows that a one-size-fits-all approach is not what our Customers want, nor deserve. She continues to manage and guide research projects, training, and policy development. With over 20 years of experience in behavioral research, correlating physiological measurements with cognition, conducting data field collection and performing advanced statistical analyses – time and again, Kelly develops invaluable solutions that advance our Customers’ programs. Kelly’s passion and unique approach helps us see the human side of technical projects and drives home KEA’s mission.

Remi Fournier brings energy, enthusiasm, and passion for success to KEA’s programs and customers. Remi is laser-focused on customer attention, understanding and satisfaction. With nearly three decades of experience, Remi
has been directly responsible for all facets of small, medium and large multi-million dollar programs. In his role as KEA Director of Programs, Remi knows that it takes an outstanding team to deliver superb services and products to its Customers. A registered Professional Engineer in multiple States and a certified PMI® Project Management Professional, Remi combines the disciplined approach to program execution with the unique needs of each project and customer to deliver every time. Remi has led team projects and programs as a prime contractor and well as support subcontractors in the public, private and government sectors. He pulls from a vast library of experiences to put “himself in others shoes” and deliver efficient, effective, high quality results. Remi is consistently looking to himself and the team for improvement and better ways to solve our customers’ problems. As a sports enthusiast, – including hockey, biking, off-road motor vehicles, and obstacle races – Remi focuses on the core principles of working hard and bringing your “A” game – Everyday. Remi weaves this winning attitude into the soul of what we do at KEA.
Director of Finance
Michelle Rich is an assertive business manager and financial analyst with longstanding experience in managing the finances of multi-million-dollar government programs. With a degree in business management, Michelle institutes accurate
earned value management and analysis providing integral feedback to customers. Michelle works tirelessly to ensure that KEA staff understands the financial status of the programs they manage facilitating transparent staff-customer relations. Michelle leaves no stone unturned when identifying financial and business solutions. She is committed to going the extra mile for KEA customers and staff.
Rob DiCicco is Corporate Controller for KEA Technologies. Prior to KEA, Rob was the Corporate Controller for OmniGuide, a private equity backed medical laser company in Lexington MA. While at OmniGuide he, worked in an
M&A capacity during two of the firm’s acquisitions. In addition, he brought the firms audits current, which enabled the financing to take place for both acquisitions. From 2013 to 2016, Rob worked as a Consultant providing controller services, financial planning & analysis, consolidations and technical accounting work for firms such as: Shire Pharmaceuticals, Perkin Elmer and KEA Technologies. From 2007 to 2013 Rob was a local Controller and later Global Finance Manager for Covidien. As Global Finance Manager for the Soft Tissue Franchise, his scope of responsibility included over 500 million in revenue.
